Dr. Joella has more than sixteen years of experience teaching college literature and writing. He also teaches psychology and political science/international relations courses. He taught in and directed a college ESL program for many years, and he runs his own editorial and training company, Ethan Joella Communications. He has more than thirteen years of experience with online teaching.

He holds a BA in English, a MA in Writing, a MS in Psychology, a MFA in Creative Writing, and a PhD in International Affairs and Political Science. He has taught for such schools as Moravian College, The University of Southern Mississippi, University of Findlay, and University of Pennsylvania’s English Language Program.

He lives in Pennsylvania and Delaware with his wife and daughters.
