MATH 115 Problem Solving

This course applies mathematical concepts to a variety of problems, to develop and improve technical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills in analyzing various types of issues.

The course learning outcomes that you will demonstrate upon completion of this course are as follows:

Conduct research to support understanding of key mathematical concepts presented in the course.

Develop the abilities to reason logically, to classify, to generalize and to prove.

Apply appropriate mathematical techniques to solve problems and make effective use of mathematical tools in the learning and application of mathematics.

Interpret, transform and make appropriate use of mathematical statements expressed in words or symbols and make logical deductions from given mathematical data

Demonstrate effective communication skills and appropriate reasoning in all course assignments.
