Henley-Putnam University programs and faculty are focused in Strategic Security. We offer accredited master’s degree programs in three practical areas:

Master of Science in Strategic Security and Protection Management

The master's in protection management program unites proven successful management practices with proven methods for meeting a wide variety of security and protective services to individuals and businesses.  The protection management degree emphasizes the most important advanced protection training skills by requiring students take security management courses in advanced protection, intelligence and terrorism, terrorist dynamics, and crisis preparedness and consequence management.   The master's in protection management degree provides for high-level development of proficiency in threat assessment, workplace violence, physical security, white collar crime and cyber warfare, among other security management courses.

Master of Science in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Studies

In the master’s in counter terrorism degree program the instructors emphasize mastery of core skills such as intelligence writing, threat management, counterterrorism briefing, and anti-terrorism techniques throughout all our counter terrorism courses. This terrorism and counter terrorism degree online program also provides opportunities to conduct specialized study in topics such as cybersecurity, influence warfare, and counterterrorism strategy. All counter terrorism courses towards the master's in counter terrorism are four and a half quarter units unless otherwise noted.  

Master of Science in Intelligence Management

The master’s degree in intelligence management program emphasizes the most important advanced intelligence skills by requiring intelligence management courses, intelligence strategy study, and intelligence analysis writing styles. The master's in intelligence degree program provides for high-level development of proficiency in intelligence techniques, counterintelligence, collection management, and intelligence briefings. As you earn your master's in intelligence degree, all courses are four and one half credit hours unless otherwise noted.
