We aspire to be the leader in providing distance learning online instruction in the fields of intelligence management, counter terrorism training and studies, and strategic security and protection management. Our focus is on teaching “proactive” versus “reactive” methods: we attempt to further the knowledge of prevention and deterrence over the instruction of reaction and response concepts as taught at many other traditional and online institutions.

Our mission is to serve professionals in the strategic security industry, especially within the law enforcement, military and intelligence communities, by increasing opportunities for advancement in the fields of intelligence management, counterterrorism, and strategic security and protection management. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the career services for our students, we will be holding our first quarterly career panel discussion. We believe a career panel is an exciting interactive way for the faculty and special guests to impart critical practical knowledge about a broad spectrum of security industry areas.
The focus of our first panel discussion is career options outside the U.S. government with an emphasis on people who have transitioned from public sector positions to the private sector. Given the reality of shrinking public sector budgets and with an aim to broaden our students' outlook, this panel discussion promises to be informative. Some of the potential areas of discussion are corporate security analysis, corporate strategic analysis, higher-education teaching, law enforcement support, and entrepreneurial consulting.
