In his 18 year career as an educator at colleges, universities, and private schools, Sanjay Paul has taught courses in English as a Second Language, sociology, psychology ,and other subjects. In addition to his teaching roles, he is a senior instructor, a teacher-trainer, and a motivational speaker of diversity, motivational techniques, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, reward systems, and other business, psychological, and sociological topics.

Paul speaks Portuguese, English, and some Spanish. He has conducted workshops, management training workshops, and attended motivational workshops where he assisted motivational speakers such as Brian Tracy, Warren Greshes, and Jack Canfield.
