Mr. Kyle Sokol started his career in Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) as a U.S. Army CI Special Agent in 1994. His first assignment as an intelligence analyst was working special operations and investigations out of the Seoul (Korea) Resident Office. Upon leaving Korea, he was assigned to the 902nd Military Intelligence (MI) Group, Fort Meade, MD, with duty as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAIC), 902nd MI Det achment, Fort Lewis, WA. Mr. Sokol then went on to receive a commission as a MI Officer within the U.S. Army and served in WA, AZ and FL. His last assignment while in the military was as an MI Company Commander. Mr. Sokol presently works as a civilian under the Counterintelligence Staff Officer (CISO) at US Central Command (Tampa, FL) as a Senior CI Subject Matter Expert (SME). His deployments include Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, and Egypt. Mr. Sokol holds a B.A. in Criminology, M.S. in Criminal Justice, and currently is a Doctoral Candidate for a PhD in Human Services (criminology concentration) at Capella University.
