Mr. Rodríguez Pazo is a career HUMINT overt collector with over twenty-four years of experience in this field. Throughout his career he conducted collection operations in Latin America, the Balkans, and the Middle East. Mr. Rodríguez Pazo has extensive experience in the full scope of overt and clandestine HUMINT collection operations at the tactical, strategic, and national operational levels. In 1991, he began a gradual transition from the DO arena into the DI arena, serving as an intelligence analyst in various projects. In 2001, Mr. Rodríguez Pazo was assigned as the Senior HUMINT Targeting Officer at an interagency activity in support of law enforcement and intelligence operations directed against threats to national security. He is a native Spanish speaker and a school-trained Arabic linguist. From 2002 until 2006 Mr. Rodríguez Pazo worked as an independent consultant and held positions as a HUMINT Targeting Officer, Operations Officer, and Military Intelligence Doctrine Developer. He is currently employed with Department of Homeland Security as the Chief of an applications development team. Mr. Rodríguez Pazo earned a MS in Computer Science from City University, Bellevue WA in 2005 and is a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator. He currently teaches courses related to intelligence studies at Henley-Putnam University.
