General Education

Julieta Martinez, M.Ed. Julieta is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and resides in Boca Raton, FL. She has been teaching since 1989 at all academic levels, and online since 2004. She is greatly loved by her students because of her gentle nurturing style and dedication to her students.

Prior to joining Henley-Putnam University, Julieta taught at Universidad Católica Argentina, Lynn University, American Heritage High School, Kaplan University, Florida Atlantic University and Innova College. She currently teaches Spanish online at University of Maryland University College and Northampton Community College.

She earned the Kaplan University Vice President’s award in recognition for her commitment to excellence in teaching, service, and curricular development in the Department of Educational Studies.

Her teaching philosophy is guided by a natural love for learning. Through her own personal experiences, she is convinced that the greatest gift a teacher can provide is to cultivate that student’s inherent curiosity. This natural desire to understand the world around us is common to all, but regrettably, dormant in many. Her ambition when teaching is to inspire the student to probe the deeper meaning of a subject and consider the many ways in which it affects the world around us. If she is able to accomplish this goal, then she simply becomes the tour guide on one of life’s most fascinating adventures.

Julieta has a Master of Education in Varying Exceptionalities with English as a Second Language endorsement a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Lynn University, FL and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Universidad Católica Argentina, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
