Dr.Goodfield is a professor, international lecturer and author with more than 40 years experience in applied psychology. He teaches courses on terrorist mindsets and psychological profiling. Dr. Goodfield has advised senior leaders -- including presidents and prime ministers - on crisis management, conflict resolution and stress reduction. He took part in negotiations between Chechen leaders and President Yeltsin, as well as conflict in the Baltic states. He had been adviser to the leadership of NATO and served on the United States Commission on Civil Rights. His work is based on the only patented psychotherapeutic process, which Dr. Goodfield developed in the 1970’s using advanced video techniques. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, fellow of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Medicine. While a visiting professor at the Diplomatic Academy of London, University of Westminster, he published Insight and Action: The Role of the Unconscious in Crisis from Personal to International Levels. While working for the International Criminal Tribunal in the Hague he profiled President Milosevic (The Forensic Examiner summer 2006). His profile of Saddam Hussein is the featured article for The Forensic Examiner summer 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Alliant University (formally United States International University) with previous doctoral work at U. C. Berkley, and Rutgers University.
