Terrorism and Counterterrorism

Praveen Abhayaratne is an internationally recognized expert in Counterterrorism research with over ten years of experience in the field. He teaches courses in counterterrorism analysis, global terrorism, terrorist groups, ideologies, techniques, threat assessment, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear terrorism. He was a Research Associate specializing in WMD terrorism at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies in Monterey, CA, and has also published numerous articles and studies in his field.  Mr. Abhayaratne received his MA in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in 2003.
