ECN 135 Introduction to Macroeconomics

This course is designed for students who have an interest in money flow and financial issues in global markets. This course is designed to introduce the student to basic concepts in economics and to understand the cause and effect relationship between key economic concepts. The student develops skills in interpreting charts and graphs and to analyze different viewpoints related to supply and demand. The course’s major focus is on the study of aggregate behavior in the economy.

The course learning outcomes that you will demonstrate upon completion of this course are as follows:

Describe key concepts within macroeconomics.

Demonstrate understanding of main concepts within macroeconomics through application and problem solving.

Comprehend and apply the effects of and rationale behind key macroeconomic concepts.

Apply awareness of macroeconomic principles and their global impact.

Effectively communicate critical thinking about and analyses of key economic principles.
