TCT 620 Advanced Domestic Terrorism

Individual course cost: 1,647.00

This course will explore the phenomenon of domestic terrorism by directing the focus of the student on a single violent or potentially violent domestic extremist group, chosen by the student in consultation with the instructor. Students will develop a group history, create profiles of key members, identify allies and rivals of the group, pinpoint any relationships with foreign extremist groups or governments, and create a general threat assessment of the target organization’s potential for violence.

Evaluate and manage various information sources and their relevance to domestic terrorism in the United States and translate that information into qualitative responses.

Perform sophisticated analysis and evaluations of possible domestic terrorism threats through demonstrated technical expertise and application of conceptual skills.

Synthesize strategic leadership competencies specific to the domestic terrorism course of study.

Operate and communicate effectively with fellow students demonstrating and engaging class to further education and learning. The ability to work with stakeholders at the highest levels.

Appraise and apply issues of policy, reform, and ethics by synthesizing course material, communicating understanding, and offering new solutions.
