Bruce Guggenberger, Ph.D.
Bruce Guggenberger is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. He teaches courses on intelligence operations, among other topics. He is now employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency coordinating intelligence operations to the Combatant Commands and Defense and National Policy makers.
Dr. Guggenberger began his career in the Army as a Tactical Intelligence Officer supporting the Second Armored Cavalry Regiment responsible for patrolling the then inner-German and Czechoslovakian borders. Later in his career he deployed in support of Operation Desert/Shield and Operation Uphold Democracy, supported numerous units with worldwide deployment missions, and participated in an Army level review of Intelligence Operations. In addition, Dr. Guggenberger has extensive experience in Intelligence Collection Operations and Planning.
He received his Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Indiana State University in 2008. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
