August R. D’Avila, BS

Mr. D’Avila is a HUMINT instructor at Ft.Huachuca. He is a Plank Holder in establishment of DoD HT-JCOE. He served in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 attached to MIT23 /3rd MP Co/3rd I.D. as an Interrogator and Arabic Linguist. He was later attached to the 519MIBN/205MIBde/5th Corp U.S.ARMY serving in Northern Iraq (Tikrit) 3 ID.

Mr.D’Avila is also an Instructor Role Player (IRP) and Mentor. He teaches courses in Arab Culture, Islam, Militant Radical Islam, Culture of Al Qaeda, Interrogation Resistance, Detecting Deception, and Terrorist Financing.

Mr.D’Avila has a B.S. in Liberal Arts from New York Regents University, a Certificate Graduate U.S. Army Intelligence School, a Certificate in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute and Presidio of Monterey, A.A. in Arabic from Monterey Peninsula College, a Certificate -Basic and Advanced LSI SCAN course, Certificate SPANISH-Professional Interpreting/Translating UC Riverside. Mr. D’Avila is pursuing a Masters of Science Degree in Intelligence.
