Larry Klumb, MA
Mr. Klumb is a retired Supervisory Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During his thirty-five year career with the FBI, Mr. Klumb served at Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Cleveland, Ohio; Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During his tenure at FBI Headquarter Mr. Klumb was the National Program Manager for all Counterterrorism investigations in Europe, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada. Mr. Klumb served for over twelve years as manager of National Security Programs in the Pittsburgh Division of the FBI, covering Western Pennsylvania and the State of West Virginia. During his tenure he managed and provided daily direction and oversight to a myriad of complex counterintelligence and counterterrorism investigations. Mr. Klumb was directly responsible for establishing and managing the Division’s first-ever, dedicated Domestic Terrorism and Counterintelligence Squads. He is also credited with creating the Division’s Field Intelligence Group. He was also involved in the investigation of Flight 93 that crashed at Shanksville, Pennsylvania on 9/11. He has lectured at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia and has addressed professional audiences, both foreign and domestic, on a variety of counterintelligence and counterterrorism topics. Following retirement from the FBI Mr. Klumb has worked within the Department of Defense, initially with the Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA) and later in intelligence related positions at Headquarters United States Special Operations Command and presently at Headquarters United States Central Command, MacDill, AFB. Mr. Klumb teaches courses on terrorism and counterterrorism at Henley-Putnam University.
