Military
We understand you Henley-Putnam University’s highly focused programs are geared to serve the military professional seeking Advancement. Our team includes over twenty individuals who have prior military service. Military officers, past and present, can be found among the ranks of our faculty, advisors and administrators. Much attention has been paid to making our degrees align with DoD training and educational initiatives so that getting a degree from us will make a difference in your career. No other program offers the depth of study (112 courses) in the fields of intelligence, counterterrorism and management of protection. Our focus is our strength.

We can help you get started Law Enforcement
We know what matters For starters, the President of Henley-Putnam University, Michael Corcoran, Ph.D., was a former police officer who subsequently went on to pursue a distinguished career in the U.S. Secret Service. Our Dean of Student Services, William Starbuck, Ph.D., was a former deputy sheriff who continued on in the field of criminal investigations with the county district attorney’s office and later the FBI. Over fifteen individuals across our University have served in law enforcement in varying capacities including teaching at police academies and in POST certified courses at the local, state and federal levels. In addition to numerous local police and sheriff departments, our faculty and staff have past or present relationships with the following law enforcement agencies: U.S. Secret Service, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Air Marshall Service, U.S. Postal Inspectors, NYPD and LAPD to name a few.
